Lineage – Debut Album Coming Very Soon
Back in the winter of 2007, cousins Alex O Brian and Miguel Ahumada got together to form the bi-lingual rap group know as Lineage, Chop Shop regular Justin O Donell a.k.a. DJ Jus-Me added his turnrablist skills to the group earlier this year. For the past year and a bit the guys have been working very hard on there debut album De Aqui y De Alla / From Here & From There, drawing their influences for acts sush as Portishead, Pink Floyd and The Wu Tang, coupled with a vast array of international guests from places like Spain, France, Poland, the U.K. and the States. This long player promise to at least deliever one of the most diverse and more interesting albums to come out of the Irish Hip Hop scene in some time. With no official release date for the album yet, the guys insure me that it WILL be out before christmas and will be available through iTunes online store, truetalent.ie, and through there myspace.
