Glen Brady aka Dj Wool is an established Dj and music producer who splits his time between Brooklyn, New York and Berlin, Germany. Having made his name as one of the most prominent figures on the music scene of his native Ireland during the 90’s, his career really began to take shape when he moved to New York in 2001.Glen is a founding member of Electro/Dancerock duo “The Glass” with Dominique Keegan of Plant records co-owned by Hip hop pioneer Stretch Armstrong. Together they have released numerous 12” records and remixes including two 12inches “Won’t Bother Me” and “Hear The Music” with remixes by Mylo and 2020 Soundsystem on Fine/Four music. They have remixed and been remixed by 120 Days (Vice Records), INXS, Kasper Bjorke, Stretch Armstrong, Rinocerose, The Photo Atlas, Telepopmusic, Tittsworth, Eli Escobar, Les Clones, Filur, Shitake Monkey, Just Jack, Junior Sanchez and many more. As The Glass they have released 2 EP’s, Fourteen Again EP and most recently “Couples Therapy” EP and “Remixes & Rarities” album, both of which have become favorites of music blogs everywhere.Glen mixed and edited the highly successful “The Sound of Young New York” Compilations 1, 2 and 3. He also releases music under a number of aliases including Itchy Revolutions with several releases under that name including Face Me (12” Vinyl as well as inclusion on “The Sound of Young New York 2”) and a forthcoming 12” titled “Gangsters & Models” on Berlin based Pale Music. Also he has a track entitled “A Friend Crush” featured on The Plant music compilation. Dj Wool “100% Pure New Wool” was the first 12” to appear on Plant records in the late 90’s. DJ Wool “Gangsters & Models” 12” is coming out mid July 2008 with Remixes by The Scandals and Cobra Krames on Pale Music, Berlin with an album coming in November 2008.Glen is also an established Recording Engineer working in the Pop music world with credits ranging from Natasha Beddingfield to Jennifer lopez and Herbert Gronemyer and many more. Others credits to Glen’s production include providing beats for the International best selling album “Reveal” by REM in 2001.DJ Wool is currently in the studio mixing the higly anticipated album by Baltimore Beats artist Tittsworth with appearances by Spank Rock, Kid Sister, The Federation, PitBull, Nina Sky and more…Glen furthered his career as a professional DJ by competing in the 1998 Irish Technics DMC Scratch Championship. Accomplishing First place, which led him to compete in the World finals at Palais Des Sportes in Paris. As the producer and founding member of Award winning Irish Hip Hop crew 3rd Eye Surfers, He produced the album “Filthy Folklore” during Summer 2001.Dj Wool is on a constant tour schedule with The Glass that takes him from San Francisco to Switzerland and back again on a monthly basis… The Glass “Mad at You” 12” is due May 2008 on Turntable lab/Plant Music and The Glass “Remixes and Rarities” album is currently available digitally and in record stores everywhere…
