First of all, subscribing to a Podcast is a really really simple thing to do. Secondly, subscribing to our Podcast is probably the best thing that will ever happen to you! Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean that nothing much of consequence ever happens to you. It just means that our Podcast is great!

What is a Podcast?
These definitions pretty much cover what a Podcast is. A Podcast is a musical broadcast which is freely available to download. If you subscribe to a Podcast via iTunes or similar, then each time a new Podcast episode is released, the Podcast is automatically downloaded to your computer. Happy days!
How do I subscribe to the Chop Shop Podcast using iTunes?
Ok. This is really simple. Click on this link if you already have iTunes installed on your machine. iTunes can be downloaded from here and runs on both Macs and PCs. That link automatically launches iTunes and subscribes you to our podcast. All you need to do is to accept the default options and Bob’s your uncle and you are subscribed!
You can also search for our Podcast within the iTunes Store. Just do a search for The Chop Shop and our page will pop up in the results. Then click on the subscribe button. Done!
There is also a third way to subscribe using iTunes. This is the manual option. You can copy this web address and click on ‘Advanced’, followed by ‘Subscribe to Podcast’ and then paste the link in there. Done!

What if I’m not using iTunes and I still want to subscribe to your Podcast?
This link is our Podcast Feed. If the media player you use allows you to subscribe to Podcasts then you will need to enter that link into the media player’s Podcast settings.
Winamp supports Podcasts and is probably the best media player available on Windows, in my opinion of course! Juice, which runs on Mac, PC and Linux is a decent media player for Podcast subscriptions. Here is a handy list of Podcast clients.
Do I need to subscribe to the Podcast in order to download the mixes?
Not at all. Each time a mix is posted on our blog, the download link to the mp3 is located under the media player. You don’t need to subscribe but it helps.
Do I need an iPod to get Podcasts?
Nope! You don’t need an iPod.
